Multicultural Holidays is a collaborative installation by the students of Kids Love Art School of Fine Arts, in Pleasanton.
Each canvas represents the interconnectedness of cultures in America. This project gave me and my students the opportunity to learn about diverse ethnic traditions that are celebrated here in America. Each canvas symbolizes a holiday tradition particular to the student’s ethnic background. The color relationship, motif, and design elements represent the interconnectedness of cultures in our melting pot. This is a debut exhibition for all of these young artists. They came together and dedicated long studio hours to make this show happen. I appreciate their efforts and the support from their families.
Thank you for all your hard work.
